Suga of BTS Shocks Fans by Joining Iconic Fashion Brand Valentino as Brand Ambassador

Valentino has just announced its latest brand ambassador, and it's none other than the beloved BTS member, Suga! The pop star is joining the company's ambassadors called Di.Vas, an acronym that stands for Different Values. Creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli said of Suga, "he is a multifaceted artist; he is an interpreter and uses his talent and his work to express himself with energy and authenticity. He perfectly embodies everything that DI.VA.s testimonials stand for: diversity, inclusivity, creativity and passion."

Suga, also known as Min Yoongi, is thrilled to be joining the Valentino team. He stated, "all individuals have different dreams and values. I am excited to be working with Valentino and Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli, who have been supportive of diversity which is something that I also believe in." Along with being a brand ambassador, Suga will also be fronting the Maison Valentino Essentials campaign, dedicated to the brand’s menswear staples.

BTS fans, also known as the "ARMY", are ecstatic about this news and are looking forward to seeing Suga represent the iconic fashion brand. This is not the first time BTS has rubbed shoulders with the fashion world, as reported, Dior signed the band’s member Jimin as its global ambassador and in 2021 the group modeled for Louis Vuitton. It is clear that fashion brands are tapping into the success of popular musicians and BTS is leading the pack.
